Pat Danielson We had two greeters: LOUISE TABAYOYON AND BETH KLINGELE! New member, DENISE GORSKEY did our invocation and a great job she did! Our guests included Jane Glover, JULIUS' better half and Heather Lee from Gulf Savings and a good friend of CAMI LEONARD. (She also is a great supporter of Rock the Gap!).
Announcements: HEATHER HINZE, from LeMaster & Daniels has submitted her membership application. CAROL HINZE and KARL CORPRON will be next years Rock the Gap Co Chairs. Thank You!
PAT ANDREOTTI reminded us of our work day at CAMP ROGANUNDA on July 17. We should make it special for everyone and even if you don't work we want you to come and say good by!
Our Sgt CAROL HELMS then quized us on the July 4th celebration and made a little money for our administrative budget!
Our program was incoming President PAT ANDREOTTI and former President, Lt Governor and Governor STEVE EMHOFF on the convention in Las Vegas. Pat explained how inspirational it was to meet everyone and realize that kiwanis is such a world wide organization and how excited people are about Kiwanis. It was his first exposure to International politics and the big organization.
Steve then told us about all the meetings of the delegates and the voting processes. He also announced our new worldwide service project which I am sure we will hear much more: Ellimination of Maternal Neonatal Tetunus. It should be up and running next year. Sylvestor Neal from Auburn Wa will be our next International President.
