Pat Danielson A great meeting with a great speaker...can't ask for too much more. Our President, CHRIS COTE was back and we were warmly greeted by PAT ANDREOTTI, Invocated by BECKY SCHOLL (she does such a great job!) and our Sgt was JO MCLAIN who didn't stump us too much but she had taken over for STEVE EMHOFF who could barely talk! Thanks, Jo.
Guests included Darlene Green and the Selah Kiwanis and Evelyn Kohler, Don's better half.

FATHER - DAUGHTER DANCE was a great success.
AKTION CLUB meets January 26 and again on February 9 at the Senior Center, 6 p.m.
CHRIS CHRISTMAN called Bingo and ROGER BELL won the $5.00. LYNN BUCHANAN called the 50/50 and MIKE WILSON again won but lost -- too bad...it was up to $421.00!
MARY BETH WRIGHT then introduced our speaker for the day -- the new YSD Superintendent, Dr. Elaine Beraza. Dr. Beraza came to us from North Carolina and has made her home here with husband Dennis and 5 grown children. She is also raising her Grandson who is 4 years old and attending the Jewett Family Center Preschool. She loves Yakima and especially the cherries last year~! She explained to us that the Eisenhower/Davis projects are just beginning and we should go to their web page to keep up on the changes and happenings. She brought us up to speed and answered what quesions there are answers to at this time. It was a very positive program and a great chance to get to know Dr. Beraza.
Next week the program is Moss Adams.
