Pat Danielson Lunch by the pool and our meeting was called to order by PRESIDENT RON by banging his gavel on the empty flag pole! It was just the beginning of our August meeting. We had decorated tables, no not glitter it was seeds or pollen from the tree above. But the sandwiches where good and the company was excellent. JO MCLAIN greeted us and JAY CARROLL, yes, he was really there, prayed for us. Our guests were Evelyn Kohler, DON'S better half. And our new members, TERRI ARCHER AND EARL HALL are not guests any longer. We decided not to sing and scare the drivers on Yakima Avenue so JULIUS had a day off.
Annoucements: Aktion Club meets tonight with LYNN BUCHANAN (sporting stitches) will be the program.
Sgt. LORI CROW then got dollars from everyone that had been on vacation and those that had not!
PHYLLIS MEYER then led the program with first almost everyone putting on a note paper something that no one knew about them. We then had to guess who it was. Phyllis did a great job, we learned again with humor many things about our fellow Kiwanians that we did not know.
It was a fun time!
