Pat Danielson Clergy Day and a full house was welcomed by PRESIDENT RON ZIRKLE. We had guests from all the Kiwanis Clubs in our area and they brought their pastors and guests.
LOUISE TABAYOYAN was our greeter, JULIUS GLOVER let us in song, RUSS ROBERTS prayed for us and PAT DANIELSON is the scribe.
DON KOHLER's guest was his wife Evelyn who now seems to be a regular and we welcome her!
MAC PORTER called Bingo and JAY CARROLL won it. DEL PEARSON won/lost 50/50. Oh, well, that is more for us next week.
Our Clergy Date chairperson, who did such a great job, RUSS ROBERTS then introduced our special guest speaker, Steve Kraft, from the Yakima Evangelical Church and also very active in the Foster Care/Adoption program and Russ has been so active. Steve shared how we as Kiwanians help our community and what we can do personally and what Foster Care can do for children.
Next Week's meeting is Jon Ison, former member of our club, on Work Force for Veterans.
Also remember golf day is June 9.
