Program: Our program was the director and four lovely students from the CIEE program - International Education Exchange. Although I wouldn't able to say or spell the four students' names, their english was excellent. They shared with us their favorite foods, and what they will remember most, which for most was their host families. Hosting an exchange student is great for the student but also a rewarding experience for the host family. Students and families are matched. The programs as 5 month or school year long. Students must maintain a passing grade point average. The four that visited us were all straight A students. Don Davidson shared his fond memories of coordinating exchange students when he was an administrator with the Yakima School District.
