PRESIDENT WENDY AGUILAR called the meeting to order after PAT ANDREOTTI greeted us warmly, JO MCLAIN prayed for us and JULIUS GLOVER led us in singing. PAST PRESIDENT CHRIS CHRISTMAN presented PRESIDENT WENDY with his gavel from his presidency. Now WENDY has a gavel, but what happened to the old one? Thank you, CHRIS!

We will be at the Englewood Christian Church and M & M Catering will be providing the dinner. Santa will be there with presents for children 12 and under.
KARL CORPRON this reminded us of the Father/Daughter Dinner Dance on January 26th. It will be at the Clarion Hotel. JO MCLAIN reminded everyone that silent auction items will be needed again this year.
THERESA VITELLO had a handout about Campfire's Winter Break Day Camp for boys and girls ages 5 - 11.
JOHN WARREN was Sergeant and got most of us on questions that children ask.
BOB BROWN won the 50/50 over $300! It was rumored that he had such good luck because he had signed up for two shifts for Bell Ringing! Congratulations, Bob! Now we start over!
PROGRAM: JOHN WARREN then introduced our program for the day, Major Tom Morrow from the Salvation Army. It has been a tradition in our club for many years to have our Bell Ringing Day and Major Morrow thanked us and said "One should never take for grated the willingness of clubs and organizations coming to serve." The Salvation Army has served Yakima since 1894. Over 1000 families were served in Yakima last Christmas from their food bank. Major Morrow is relatively new to Yakima, but has lived in Tacoma, Wenatchee, Portland and Montana. He said the the kettles should raise approximately $100,000 this year.
Reminder that there will be a Board Meeting on December 6. The program for next week is DonnaJean Barton, author of Earthwalk and Earthwalk II.
