RUSS DIX, even though he has passed the "rat", was still in charge of introducing the guests. An Apple Valley interclub, consisting of Jerry Keyes, Jerry Carlton, Mic Powell, & Don Bunton, led the parade. Jason Emhoff was a guest of dad STEVE, Jon Ison (who will soon be rejoining our club) was brought by ARCHIE SUTTON, Nancine Hawkins (soon to be a new member) was hosted by DR. MIKE WILSON, Marilyn Mills (a possible new member) was introduced by DON DAVIDSON, Christian Koethe came with BRIAN BLOUNT and perennial guest Lynn Buchanan rounded out the list.

ROGER BELL passed the sign-up sheet for chain gang.

VELMA CRAWFORD sent around the roster information for updating. See her if you were not in attendance and have changes that need to be made.

DAWN ALIVERTI demanded that all Community Service budget requests be to her by this Friday. No request, no money was her theme.

BARB GRECO urged all to sign up for next year's committees. She said that is going to be focus of her year and we all should pick the committees on which we want to work.

J Blake encouraged everyone to look over the Fair Bingo sheets and sign up for multiple days. There are a number of shifts available, though some who were offering incentives seem to be pretty well filled, and every members is encouraged to work at least two shifts at the Fair. J reminded us that this is the fund-raiser that allows us to do the good works we do in the community.

JON ISON was guest sergeant, bringing back many fond memories of meetings past.

JAY CARROLL introduced speaker Phoebe Nelson, executive director of the Yakima County Coalition for the Homeless. She gave a quiz, shown below, complete with answers and explanations.
