Guests included Nancine Hawkins of KYVE guest of Dr. Mike Wilson; Joe Hollenbeck, an intern with the Central WA State Fair guest of Greg Lybeck; Larry Matson former member and Yakima City Councilman, guest of Ron Anderson; Kelsey Dix, Louise Tabayoyon, and Sama Serrano were guests of Russ Dix, holder of the RAT (a headless alligator) which is now passed on to Greg Lybeck and is now in the form of Kelsey's favorite little stuffed doggie; Kirt Williamson, member of the Tri-cities Industry Kiwanis Club; and last but certainly not least was Kamaikin Kiwanis Member, city councilman Lynn Buchannon.

FAMILY-A-FAIR
Kirt Williamson gave us a brief update on the Family-A-Fair program that will be held next year. The former treasurer who absconded with the money from last years event will be prosecuted. Incoming President Barb Greco has distributed a quick survey on what members want in their Kiwanis Club. She even included a self addressed stamped envelope for your convience. Barb reported that the first food basket delivery project has been postponed and will be reschedualed.

Tim Sullivan, from United Way, and Julie Devine gave us an online presentation of their website Resource Directory for the 9 counties in Central Washington. The site features a search engine to help individuals and professionals to find information on community services provided. If a person seeking this information does not have access to the internet, they can call the Volunteer & Resource Center of Yakima County at (509) 575-3456. The site also features information for volenteers and places to donate items and money. The site also features a community calandar that lists events and places, and can be searched by location. Agencys can update thier information directly on the website with their own password to give them access. Agencys wishing to participate on this directory can contact the resource center at the above number for access to the site. The site has links to other areas for similar information and links directly to some of the agencys sites.
